Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and Group 1001 Partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County to Open Youth Development Park

On Tuesday, May 16th, the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation (CRSF) and Group 1001 proudly cut the ribbon on a new Youth Development Park in West Palm Beach, Florida, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with synthetic turf and provides an outdoor recreational space for West Palm Beach youth to learn, play, and grow.

The ribbon-cutting event featured guest speakers from CRSF, Group 1001, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County. Children from the Boys & Girls Clubs participated in a sports clinic, led by Ripken Foundation staff and law enforcement mentors from the West Palm Beach Sherriff’s Office on the new field, marking the first time they were able to utilize the facility.
