Group 1001 Includes Women Employees’ Names on Race Cars in Honor of Women’s History Month
Group 1001, a leading financial services company, is off to the races to recognize and honor women employees and financial advisors during Women’s History Month in March.
To celebrate women working for Group 1001, more than 450 woman employees’ names will be included Sunday, March 10 on two Group 1001 company race cars. At the 2024 Shriners Children’s 500, a NASCAR Cup Series race in Avondale, Arizona, Corey LaJoie will drive the No. 7 Group 1001 Camaro while at the 2024 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES season opener in St. Petersburg, Florida, Colton Herta will drive the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda.
Additionally, the names of a select group of women in financial services will be featured on the hood of Carson Hocevar’s No. 77 Delaware Life Chevrolet at Phoenix Raceway. Delaware Life is a Group 1001 company.

At its headquarters in Zionsville, Ind., Group 1001 will celebrate Women’s History Month by giving away tote bags featuring the names of women employees and hosting a Dress for Success clothing drive. On March 21, Group 1001 and EVERFI – a leader in powering social impact through education – will host a virtual career panel celebrating women in sports. The panel will feature guests and partners of Group 1001 who will speak about their experiences working in the sports industry while addressing common barriers that exist for women in the workforce.
These actions are an extension of the impactful work Group 1001 is doing to foster a company culture of diversity, gender equity, inclusion, and innovation.
